In the following, we explain what data we collect through our website, why we collect it and on what legal basis this is done. On our website we use server log files, several plug-ins and tools as well as various cookies required for their function.
Server log files
If you visit the website, information is automatically collected by the calling computer (hereinafter called "access data"). In this case, this may be necessary in particular in order to provide evidence of past communications and inquiries with you. The responsible for the processing has integrated YouTube components on this website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them, also free of charge. Each time one of the individual pages of this website operated by the data processor on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the internet browser on the data subject's information technology system is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Further information on YouTube can be found at www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. Within the scope of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google receive information about which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the person concerned is logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognises which specific sub-page of our website the person concerned is visiting when a sub-page containing a YouTube video is called up. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.
YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is logged into YouTube at the same time as calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her YouTube account before accessing our website.

4. Cookies and web analysis
4.1 What are cookies
To make our websites as user-friendly as possible, we and our partners use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small fites that are stored on a visitor's hard disk. They make it possible to store information for a certain period of time and to identify the visitor's computer.
4.2 Which cookies do we use, on what legal basis and for how long?
The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interests (Art. (1) lit. a and f GDPR). These cookies are session-specific and expire after your visit to the website (session).
4.2.1 Targeting and advertising cookies
Targeting and advertising cookies are used to tailor advertising to you and your interests. They are also used to limit how often you see the same ad, measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign, and understand people's behavior after viewing an ad. These cookies are typically placed on the pages of advertising networks with the consent of the website Operator (i.e., in this case, us). They recognize that a user has visited a website and pass this information on to others, e.g. advertising companies, or adapt advertisements themselves accordingly. They are often linked to a website functionality provided by that company. We therefore also use these cookies to link to social networks, which can then use the information about your visit to tailor the advertising on other websites to you, and to provide the advertising networks we use with information about your visit so that they can later present you with the exact advertisements that really interest you based on your browsing behavior.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent within the framework of the cookie banner displayed when you reach our website (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).
Cookies and the information stored in them can be deactivated or deleted by you at any time (see 4.3).
4.2.2 Google Analytics
For the purpose of tailoring our pages to your needs and continuously optimizing them, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. On the other hand, we use tracking measures to record the use of our website statistically and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our oller for you. We carry out this processing exclusively on the basis of your previously given consent (see above under Cookies)
Google Analytics creates pseudonymous user profiles for us. The information generated by the Google Analytics cookie about your use of this website such as
- browser type/version
- used operating system
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
- time of the server request,
are transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services connected with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and the design of these Internet pages in line with requirements. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data from Google. The IP addresses are made anonymous, so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dIpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on this link (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de). An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help (https://support.google.com/analyticsfanswer/6004245?hf=de).
If you would like us to provide you with more information about these cookies instead, please contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
4.3 How do I deactivate cookies?
You can deactivate individual cookies using the links at the top of the table (opt-out). Finally, you can also prevent the use of any cookies by adjusting the settings for cookies in your browser accordingly. However, we would like to point out that the functionality of our web pages will be limited in this case, even if technically necessary cookies are blocked.
E.g. on the website www.youronlinechoices.com you can read more informati-on about cookies and the individual providers. There you also have the possibility to object to usage-based online advertising by individual or all tools. To go directly to the preference manager, please click here [the bold text contains the following link: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement.
5. Links and web site presence and third-party services
We use links to other websites of us on websites and services of third parties, e.g. on social media channels like Youtube. The data processing of such other service providers on their websites is the sole responsibility of these third parties and their privacy policies apply.
Please refer to paragraph 3.2.3.
The responsible for the processing has integrated components of the LinkedIn Corporation on this website.
With each individual call-up of our website that is equipped with a LinkedIn component (LinkedIn plug-in), this component causes the browser used by the data subject to download a corresponding representation of the component from LinkedIn. Further information on LinkedIn plug-ins can be found at developer.linkedin.com/plugins. Within the scope of this technical procedure, LinkedIn receives information about which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to LinkedIn at the same time, LinkedIn recognises which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting with each call-up of our website by the data subject and for the entire duration of the respective stay on our website. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject. If the data subject activates a LinkedIn button integrated on our website, LinkedIn assigns this information to the personal LinkedIn user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.
LinkedIn always receives information via the LinkedIn component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into LinkedIn at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the LinkedIn component or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to LinkedIn, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her LinkedIn account before accessing our website.
We and our service providers take technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our data processing and our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological developments.
When your personal data is transferred to us, it is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Per-sonal data that is exchanged between you and us or other participating companies is always trans-mitted via encrypted connections that are state of the art.
Our employees and our contracted service providers are of course bound to confidentiality.
7. Your rights to information, correction, blocking or deletion
Every natural person whose personal data we process is basically (i.e. depending on the respective conditions) entitled to the following rights towards us:
If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data by us, we will be happy to provide you with information about the data stored about you free of charge (Art. 15 GDPR).
You have the right to have incorrect data corrected and incomplete data completed (Art. 16 GDPR).
You have the right to block/restrict the processing or deletion of your personal data that is no longer required or stored due to legal obligations (Ar.t 17, 18 GDPR).
You have the right to transfer the data in a structured, common and machine-readable format, provided that you have provided us with the data on the basis of a consent or on the basis of a contract between us and you (Art. 20 GDPR).
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes (see also point 4, Art. 21 para. 2 and 3 GDPR)).
You have the right to object on the basis of a processing on the basis of a legitimate interest, whereby we can then present our compelling reasons (Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR). We have indicated above (see item 2) where this right exists.
If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future, i.e. the legality of the data processing up to the time of revocation remains unaffected. After you have revoked your consent, you may no longer be able to use our services.
