Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd., India, and IAS have singed the Final Acceptance Certificate for the Billet Heating System for manufacturing of seamless Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloy Pipes installed in Gujarat, India.
The Induction Heating Plant comprises two horizontal preheating lines followed by two soaking chambers, three parallel vertical induction heating furnaces for intermediate heating and another three parallel vertical heating furnaces for adjustment of the final extrusion temperature after the billet expansion process. IAS has undertaken the complete design, delivery and commissioning of the plant with an installed power of 10MW.
