IAS GmbH will supply 4 copper melting furnaces for sampling under an SMS group contract for a new recycling plant in Georgia, US. Three coreless furnaces with a capacity of 500 kg each and one push-out holding furnace with a capacity of 50 kg will melt copper recycling material and help the customer to recycle precious copper scrap in the US. The melting furnaces will be powered by the latest IGBT transistor power supply generation ITN6.
